Quality Control

Quality control is a 24 X 7 activity at WCPM. The company is committed to the manufacture of paper and boards of world class quality for the complete satisfaction of its customers.

The high speed paper machines are equipped with advanced online process and quality control systems for continuous monitoring of the quality parameters. The Autoline, a quality control equipment in the new paper manufacturing machine is the first ever such investment by a paper Mill in India.

The company’s prudent investment in sophisticated equipment and laboratory has been reinforced by a competent quality control team, which checks paper samples periodically, across critical parameters. A direct link with the marketplace has helped the company produce exactly what the customer wants.

As an ISO 9001:2008 company, WCPM has consistently improved its quality benchmarks, which have translated in to a high customer satisfaction and a loyal off-take..

Research and Development

At the heart of WCPM’s success is its strong customer focused research initiative, comprising a sophisticated Research center and qualified professionals.

This team has been instrumental in mastering the wood to paper technology into an innovation-driven dependable product sought by repeat Indian and global customers. This team has also played a pivotal role in suggesting product innovations and process modifications in the in-house pulping and paper making line as well as implementing an effective effluent management system and environment friendly manufacturing practices across the organization to maintain minimum impact.

The research team also works closely with the customer feedback derived by the customer service cell, based on which new products are developed.

Thanks to the sustained efforts of the QC and the R&D the company stands ISO 9001-certified for quality in process management, ISO 14001:2004 for effective environment management and the OHSAS 18001:2007 for maintaining occupational health and safety assessment across the operations.
