Sudarshan Telecom (A division of The West Coast Paper Mills Ltd.) is a
leading manufacturer of Optical Fiber and Jelly Filled Telephone
Cables in India having its state of the art manufacturing facility at Mysore (about 140 Km from Bangalore) in South India.Sudarshan Telecom started its commercial production in 1996 with technology from Royle Systems Group of USA and initial technical support from Sumitomo Japan. Later, the capacity of the plant was enhanced by installing latest generation Buffering and Stranding equipment from Rosendahl Austria. The company has annual capacity to produce 52000 Km cables (1 million Fkm). The company also has facility for manufacture of 1.5 million ckm Copper Telephone cables up to 800 Pairs.
Product Range:
The company manufacturers a wide range of cables in constructions viz.
- Non-Metallic Duct Cables,
- Corrugated Steel tape Armoured cables,
- All Di-Electric Self Supporting ADSS Cables,
- Fig. 8 Aerial Cables (Steel or non-metallic messenger wire),
- Drop Cables for CATV & Broadband applications,
- Micro-duct cables,
- Indoor Cables,
- Direct Buried Hollow Tube cables etc.
- Jelly Filled Telephone Cables
The company offers cables with Single Mode Fiber, Multimode Fiber,
Non Zero Dispersion Shifted Fiber, and Bend insensitive Fiber. The
cables are available in Dry Core or with Gel Filled Cores. The
jacketing material can be offered in PE, PBT or Nylon as per required
customer specification.
The Fiber count ranges from:
- 2F up to 12F in Uni-tube construction &
- 4F up to 432F in SZ stranded Multi Tube construction.
Approvals:
The company is a reputed manufacturer having Type Approval for Optical
Fiber Cables from Govt. owned Telecom Service Providers BSNL / MTNL (Bharat
Sanchar Nigam Ltd / Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd), Private service
providers like Reliance Infocomm, VSNL (Videsh sanchar Nigam Ltd),
IDEA Telecom, Leading Multi service Providers like Hathways, Indus
Media, Siticable group, Indian Railways / RDSO etc.
The company is accredited with ISO: 9001 certification from DNV (DET
NORSKE VERITAS) Netherland.
Exports:
The company is having successful export performance of having supplied
its cables to Skandevevia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Bangladesh,
Dominic Republic, Middle East and African countries.
